This MP4 Player is based on ALi M5661x Processor, Nand Type: SAMSUNG K9G8G08(MLC), Firmware Version: 01.03.00, Chip: 0007, VID: 0402, PID: 0610.
This device support firmware upgrading. And the result from this feature is sometimes peoples who want to upgrade the firmware they downloads the wrong/incompatible firmware and causes the device broken.
If this happens to you, what will you do? Don’t worry, you can download the original or modified firmware from this website for free. But, please note that do this at YOUR OWN RISK.


You can modify your firmware like this using Firmware Hammer 1.0. The full version of Firmware Hammer 1.0 is available in this page. You can decompile the image file, view the result, and compile the firmware file using the software.

Follow the instruction below to recover your ALiM5661 based MP4 player:

  1. Download the firmware (original or modified) from download link below.
  2. Unzip to any folder.
  3. Run the file: Factory4.exe –> It will shows MPTOOL 1.10.25.
    Attention: Use this program at your own risk.
  4. Connect your MP4 player while holding the [VOL] button.
  5. Program will detect your device and you will see your device in the column no.1
  6. After ± 5 sec, you may release the [VOL] button. Or keep hold it (if you want to do that).
  7. Click “Configure” button if you wish to change the name of your device.
  8. Finally, clik Firmware Feature and wait a moment until the process finished.
  9. Unplug your device, and try to switch it on.

For the firmware, I can’t upload it here becoz the file itself is about 4MB. I don’t have much GPRS quota. –> Sorry for my bad english.

Since the links to download files on http://abdiradit.com/?p=6 were uploaded to the disappeared site ziddu.com, I decided to upload to Rapidshare the files as I found them elsewhere.

i proved with a file pm and only shows square pictures and blacks
may be i used it bad

I’m sorry sir. I didn’t provide any user guide for that application. I made it for my broken MP4 because I downloaded wrong firmware. And Not all MP4 compatible with this program. Thanks
